Poem Contest [/u] Yup, you read it right; Neclymoure's first contest is a poem contest. The rules? 1) Your poem must be entered (in this thread) by the end of May. That means once June roles around, this thread will be locked. 2) Your poem cannot be longer than 2,000 words. Seriously, 2,000 words is quite a bit for a non-novel poem. And that's it! Grammar and such will help you when it comes to who wins, so keep that in mind, but those are all of the rules. Speaking of winning, though, what is the prize? You will receive the following if you win:
- A place on The Fame board as May's Poem Contest Winner
- A surprise!
And the second prize is a surprise because I've yet to think up something good. Hehe.

I don’t want to see you cry,
My eyes are covered,
I want it to go away.
I’m finally dreaming,
I hear the screaming,
Will it ever go away?
I was scared once upon a time,
But now its all to familiar,
I can handle the hate you give me,
But can you handle mine?
The voices are back,
Telling me to do things,
Things I wouldn’t normally do.
What do you want from me?
I hear them they wont go away.
I’m crying, crying for you.
Take me,
Love me,
Please the voices are tormenting me.
I’m alone in the black,
I have a fear for you,
I hear me name whispered in the dark
The playground is empty.
No children,
No laughter,
Just Broken Sorrow.
I cant handle the tears,
I look away,
Why won’t you stop staring?
I run, run away,
Leaving the torments behind,
Everything is going to be fine now.
What was that?
Are they following?
Oh please stop hollering!
Just leave me be,
Can't you see?
Your killing me!
I scream,
I toss,
I turn
I reach for salvation,
I awake,
Im alone,
Safe and sound in my bed.
